About Courtney

Hi, I’m Courtney – a passionate freelance makeup artist and hair stylist based in Gold Coast, Australia. My love for makeup and beauty started as a young child, before makeup was the booming industry it is today, I was already experimenting with face paints at 6 years old on my friends and not so willing younger brother (sorry, Marcus!). What started as playful creativity has turned into a fulfilling career where I get to make others feel beautiful, confident, and empowered every single day.

In 2018, I took the leap to pursue makeup artistry full-time, leaving my role as a retail manager to follow my true passion. After completing a Diploma in TV and Media Specialist Makeup Services, I was honored to be an award-winning student and invited back to assist teach future makeup artists. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with incredible brands and clients, including KMS, Goldwell, and global names like Dorsett Hotels, HiSmile, and F45. My work has also graced photoshoots for fashion labels like Volcom, Energetics, Reverie the Label, and Ollieta.

Whether I’m creating a fresh and flawless look for a photoshoot, helping a bride feel like the most beautiful version of themself on their wedding day, or giving someone the glam look they’ve always dreamed of, I thrive on the variety and personal connections each client brings.

What sets me apart is my flexible approach and ability to understand my clients wants and needs and creating a bespoke look (no one-size fits all approach!). Whether it’s a natural look or something glamorous, I focus on enhancing your best features and creating a timeless, red-carpet-ready appearance that looks amazing in person as it does in photos. I take pride in the relationships I build and the exceptional customer service I provide, ensuring that every client’s needs are met with care and attention to detail.
